Old Alresford Place is a large comfortable house set in five acres of garden in a small Hampshire village just 9 miles from Winchester. Dating back to the 1630, and originally built as a country parish rectory, it later became the home of The Revd George Sumner, whose wife Mary, founded The Mothers’ Union in 1976.
